Following recent company growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 Site Operatives to join our dynamic team to assist us in ensuring that all our projects are delivered to a high standard.

Nexus are a team of industry leaders, specialising in the execution of commercial, retail, hospitality & residential projects to the highest standard, the core of these projects are high-end restaurants. This is an exciting time to join Nexus as we expand our client base and our team.

These operatives will be responsible for supporting the onsite project team to deliver our high-end restaurant fit-outs for our client base around London and the southeast, and sometimes further afield to the high standards Nexus demand.

These operatives will need to be very flexible and be willing to work days or evenings and be willing to push that extra mile to ensure the client is left with the quality that Nexus consistently deliver. They need to be experienced and solution-focused, have the ability to resolve problems as they arise.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • Be able to drive and have a clean driving licence.
  • Have a wide collection of skills that can be delivered to high standard.
  • Have experience in working in an occupied premises and multiple sites.
  • Be able to work as part of a team.
  • Have good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Have a good level of common sense and be able to work to health & safety regulations.
  • Be able to think on their feet and know when to ask for support.
  • Able to use own initiative.
  • Able to work to deadlines.
  • Willing to work in the nexus way always demonstrating a professional image.

Nexus are based in Hastings however lots of the work is in and around London so applicants will be accepted from various locations.

The post holder will be required to work 40 hours per week (including breaks), full time hours, Monday to Friday, however will be required to be flexible inline with the business needs.


In return we will offer you a competitive salary to be agreed based on experience, 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays, pro rata), company pension and access to Training and Development. Self employed or PAYE will be considered equally.
