Assistant Site Manager – Commercial Fit Out, Cardiff.

Competitive CIS rate, Contract Duration: Feb 24 – May 24.

A great opportunity to assist our Site Manager working on a commercial fit out project in Cardiff.

This pivotal Assistant Site Management role will form part of a strong management team & requires a deep understanding of the logistics involved in managing high end & complex projects.

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • The planning & implementation of continuous site logistics.
  • ⁠Reading & understanding of construction drawings.
  • The ability to motivate & lead a team but also work independently.
  • Fulfilling accountabilities within the Health & Safety Plan.
  • Managing the issue of construction information.
  • Manage sub-contractors on site to work safely & economically, by co-ordination of all trades.
  • Manage direct site labour & maintain accurate records.

The following experience & attributes are required:

  • Have experience in working in the commercial fit-out sector, restaurants would be an advantage
  • Hold a qualification in construction management or in the process of obtaining construction management qualification.
  • Hold valid First Aid certification.
  • IT literate with Microsoft Excel & Outlook.
  • An excellent work ethic and attitude.
