After collaborating with Caprice Holdings Ltd. on numerous projects, Richard Caring approached us to tender for their exciting launch into the North. After months of hard work, Nexus was appointed as the main contractor for the construction of Sexy Fish in Manchester. Headed by managing director, Adam Quinn, our team looked after all aspects of the fit-out including the sourcing of bespoke furniture, project budgets and installation.
The project was a great challenge for the Nexus team, as the building required large structural changes and an extension. After sourcing specialist contractors in Germany, the complex build was underway, and our team could begin to bring the client’s astounding vision to life.
Showcasing beautiful and bespoke craftsmanship, the swanky interior takes modern dining to a new level. Working with a range of iconic artists, Nexus delivered a space complete with the most unique and majestic touches. Some of our favourites are the stunning fish lamps by Frank Gehry and giant sea sculptures by Damien Hirst.
When tasked with the installation of a 7m wide tropical fish aquarium and waterfall, our team weren’t phased and dived straight in!
After five months of dedication, we celebrated the completed project at the launch event on the 12th of October 2023.
