The London Pub, located beneath the Royal National Hotel in Bloomsbury, has recently undergone a significant transformation. As the principal contractor, Nexus collaborated with interior designers to fit-out, source, project manage and deliver a modern yet nostalgic twist on the traditional British pub. The challenge was to evoke the charm of an old London pub while embracing contemporary design elements.
The design was inspired by London’s iconic travel network, incorporating bold geometric patterns and light industrial textures. The standout feature of the redesign is the glowing central bar. The fusion of antique brass, oak timber, and vibrant colour schemes ensures that the space feels fresh while still respecting traditional pub design principles.
Communicating closely with all parties, the Nexus team worked hard to deliver the client’s ambitious brief within budget and on schedule.
